Offering competitive wages, benefits, and respect for its work force has resulted in Lone Pine’s attraction and retention of conscientious and knowledgeable employees. Company excursions, such as the Banff trip in 2007 and barbecue get-togethers promote company “team spirit” and are enjoyed by all employees and their spouses.

A safety incentive program introduced in 2008 has marked its first no-lost-time quarter in the program and all employees who had worked during that quarter received gift cards to popular retail outlets. Similar incentives will be offered for each quarter that passes without a lost time incident.
